Transitioning your wardrobe for Fall

Fall lasts a total of 2 minutes in Tulsa, so I had to grab some pictures of it while it lasts. The season will probably be over by the time this post goes live!
I love that sneakers are in the fashion spotlight right now. These Nikes have been a staple in my closet for a few years, and I’ve gotten so much use out of them this season! They’re such an easy pair of shoes to wear year-round, but I think they’ve been essential to my fall wardrobe because they look great with every style of pant. I’m not quite ready to retire some of my summery styles, but lucky for me these shoes look just as great with wide-legged capris as they do paired with skinny jeans.
I’ve never been great at transitioning my wardrobe, but now that I have a mindful approach to shopping, transition seasons are a little more important/fun. They’re a cool time to mix & match different parts of your wardrobe that normally wouldn’t mesh, like summery pants and a sweater.
Transition periods may look different or last longer depending on where you live. Where I live, fall and spring aren’t as much seasons as they are transition times, haha, so instead of buying clothes for those seasons, I just combine my winter and summer clothes for some killer transition outfits.
It’s hard to believe it’s already November! I’m not quite sure I’m ready for the holiday season yet… we don’t even own a Christmas tree!
Wish me luck, xx
