7 Books That Are On My Summer Reading List.

Now that it's officially summer (even though, for most of us, it's felt like summer since May), we can discuss summer reading lists! I loveeee to read, and I definitely have the most free-time in the summer to indulge myself in some non-required reading. There's nothing better than spending an hour by the pool--or the ocean, if you're lucky--reading a good book. My reading list is always huge, so I narrowed it down to the seven books that you absolutely cannot miss. There's something for everyone on this list--they vary from feel good books to essays on all things life to commentaries on the Bible.

FEEL GOOD NOVEL: A Man Called Ove by Frederik Backman

TRAVEL: A Year in Provence by Peter Mayle and Toujours Provence by Peter Mayle

HISTORICAL FICTION: The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah

NONFICTION ESSAYS: The Abundance by Annie Dillard

BIBLICAL COMMENTARY/LESSONS ON LIFE: And It Was Good: Reflections on Beginnings by Madeleine L'Engle and Small Victories by Anne Lamott

Happy reading!!
