Our usual date nights consist of coffee and homework (college!! grades rule our lives right now) so a date night where we don't bring our backpacks and laptops is rare and had to be documented.

Garrison and I both had long weeks, so I didn't think we were going to do anything big this weekend. Maybe grab coffee and a pastry somewhere in downtown and just enjoy this early spring weather (Chimera is our favorite), or watch a movie at one of our houses (You've Got Mail on repeattttttt). Just like always, though, Garrison surprised me! He knows me so well--I love surprises, so even when I ask him where we're going, he refuses to tell me just so it can be a surprise! I love it.

The weather has been so nice this week--such a great taste of spring with all the trees blooming and the sun shining!--but Friday night it was a little chilly, so I had to add another layer over my gridded blouse, which means it's time to break out the GAP denim. But honestly, EVERYDAY is a day for GAP denim.

I am low-key obsessing over this Steve Madden teal bag right now. I have the crossbody version, but I love the tote that I linked above because of all the space. It's the perfect pop for days when my outfit is feeling too bland.

Okay... P.F. Changs. GUYS, WHAT EVEN. I think I might be the only person in the world who's never been there until now. We got the citrus ginger edamame as an appetizer--so yummy! I could eat edamame all day long, haha.

Much love to you, my little spring chickens,

Em
