Winter Whites with Smile Brilliant

I've always been mildly paranoid about my teeth. When meeting people, I'd worry that my teeth weren't white enough or that I had some spinach stuck in them, lol. (I think everyone worries about that last one) But seriously, teeth have a lot of power for such little things, and I really believe that having nice teeth gives you extra confidence in yourself. When it came to choosing a whitening product, what really sold me on Smile Brilliant were the personalized trays that fit perfectly to my teeth. Honestly, I don't think there's a more effective way to get an evenly white smile than to use a 360 degree whitening process.

SmileBrilliant begins the whitening process by sending you molding materials to create impressions of your teeth. To create the molds, you mix one base paste (the pretty blue one) with one catalyst paste (the white one) until they are fully combined and you don't see any streaks of white. Then, evenly arrange the putty in one of the plastic impression trays and bite down.

I know this part of the process can seem a little daunting, but I promise it's so easy. I was afraid I was going to mess up big time, but I followed the directions and got it right on the first try. Plus, Smile Brilliant sends you a backup base paste and catalyst paste, so if you mess up, they have your back :)

Once you've made imprints of your top and bottom teeth, you can place them inside the prepaid envelope and mail them back to Smile Brilliant's headquarters, where they will create your custom trays and mail them back to you within a week. Then, you start whitening!

The whitening process is very basic: Apply a thin string of Whitening gel (the green syringe) to the inside of your trays and place them on your teeth. You can whiten your teeth for as little as an hour or as long as three hours, depending on your teeth sensitivity. My teeth are pretty sensitive, so I started with whitening for an hour at a time every other day, and gradually increased that time to two hours. After you've finished the whitening process, you can apply the Desensitizing gel. This gel is literally my favorite part about whitening my teeth with Smile Brilliant. It soothes and seals my teeth after I whiten them, taking away that sore, sensitive feeling that other whitening products tend to give me.

To celebrate my great experience with Smile Brilliant AND the fact that I reached 1,000 followers on Instagram, Smile Brilliant has agreed to give away a FREE teeth whitening kit.
