Fall in Tulsa: Carmichael's Pumpkin Patch

I couldn’t let October pass by without a trip to my favorite pumpkin patch in Tulsa, Carmichaels. There are so many barrels full of pumpkins and great photo spots all around. My little sister and I went this past weekend and, while it was SO muddy (we’ve had a lot of rain in Tulsa this month), we still had the best time.

I bought this sweater from Mango earlier this month. It’s so comfortable, and not too chunky for a crisp fall day. Right now, it’s on sale for $19.99—I love it in white. This sweater was the first thing that I’ve ever bought from Mango, and I can definitely say I’ll be shopping there again. You all know how much I love staple wardrobe pieces, and Mango has some of the best.

These Ann Taylor boots have been my favorite winter boots for the past two years. They’ve aged so well, and the leather is buttery soft—definitely a shoe worth investing in. I’ve linked a few similar pairs below. This pair from Old Navy is on sale right now for under $40, a total steal. I also love this sleek pair from Topshop.

Some of my favorite fall traditions are carving pumpkins, eating handfuls of candy corn (who doesn’t love it?), and baking pumpkin muffins. It’s mine & Garrison’s first married fall season, and while we haven’t carved pumpkins yet—maybe this weekend?—we have eaten a lot of candy corn and pumpkin-flavored things. What are your favorite fall traditions? We’d love to hear what makes this season special for you, and maybe start some new traditions!
