The Best Black Friday Purchase
This holiday week was filled with so many of my favorite things….. ham, stuffing, Christmas prep, and, of course, Black Friday shopping.
Even though most of the sales were the same online as they were in-store, I still begged Garrison to go with me to my favorite stores. We went to Gap late Thursday night, and I couldn’t leave without these cranberry chinos.
These pants are the perfect blend of menswear style and feminine fashion. I love the semi-baggy fit and Gap’s classic chino material. I’m drawn to neutrals, but for some reason this shade of cranberry, called Shiraz, spoke to me over the other 10 choices. They’re the perfect pop of color for winter. They also have them in a lighter shade of pink, which I may buy later on.
These double monk strap shoes are my favorite pair of shoes right now. I’ve been hunting for a perfect pair of menswear-inspired shoes, and these stole my heart. They’re Nine West, and I bought them off of Poshmark. Unfortunately, there aren’t a ton of women’s styles like this, but I was able to find another similar pair by Anne Klein (here) that are under $60, and a pair of Ted Baker London’s on Poshmark, size 7.5. The Ted Baker shoes retail for around $185, but this pair is listed at $50—a total steal!
It makes me so happy to come home at the end of the day and see our pretty Christmas decorations. We’ve been listening to Ariana Grande’s Christmas album and all of Michael Bublé’s Christmas songs on repeat. My favorite Christmas song will always be Last Christmas. The original Wham! version is so good! What’s your favorite Christmas song?
