Here's the thing... I love summertime. It's literally my favorite time of the year because everything is colorful AND everyone is all tan AND my garden is popping out all sorts of goodies! PLUS snow-cones. Y'all give a round of applause for snow-cones. 

 So I put together this outfit in celebration of my favorite season. From braid to sandals, it screams summer.

For me, nothing encompasses summer like floral prints and lace-up sandals do. Together, they're an unbeatable pair. These Forever21 gladiator sandals have been on my mind now for a few months now--a few weeks back, I finally took the plunge and bought them! I specifically thought of this dress from CUPSHE when I picked them out. They make such a good pair.

One big thing I stress when buying clothes is versatility, i.e. can you wear it more than once?/are you able to wear it in many different situations? If the answer to either of these questions is "no," I normally hesitate to purchase an item. This dress can be worn in fifty-thousand different scenarios! Brunch party? Wear this dress. Pool day? Wear this dress. Sunburnt from the aforementioned pool day? You're in luck! This dress is made of the lightest fabric ever so it doesn't rub or irritate your skin.

I call that a good dress.
