the Monday blues hit hard this morning, which explains why I had the hardest time getting out of bed this morning, and also why I’m wayyyyy late writing this blog post! mornings are always hard, but Monday mornings are especially difficult.

I’m all about Everlane’s washable silk line. This tie-cuff blouse came in the mail right after I purchased my fluffy cheetah coat, and I’ve been alternating back and forth between them both all week, haha. Even though I love silk clothing, I always hesitate to buy it because I am super messy and hate going to the dry cleaner!

I’m trying to get experimental with my photoshoots (hence last week’s bookstore shoot), so my sister and I went to an antique mall this weekend and shot these pics. They had a bunch of Pink Floyd, Hall & Oates, and Elvis records, and the whole building had that musty, old paper smell that you can only find inside a store full of vintage things.

I’m really loving the socks and loafers trend, if you can even call it a trend. It’s practically a necessity on cold days!
